Objective

The computer centre is located in the Department of Computer Engineering. The total carpet area for the centre is 210 sq. mt. The centre has 60 nodes with high-speed LAN connectivity. The centre uses star topology implemented with the help of three 24-port switches and one 16-port switch. The centre is equipped with an LCD projector, air conditioners and whiteboards. The centre is under CCTV survillence. All nodes are provided with 100 Mbps internet connection. The nodes have Open source and licensed software installed. Facilities like printing, scanning, etc are also available at the centre. |
